About Interceding Men

Men were never meant to walk alone.

Interceding Men is a brotherhood for men who want to seek God honestly, strengthen one another, and become a steady presence in their homes and communities.

Why this exists

A personal journey became a shared invitation.

Interceding Men was born out of a personal journey: years of trying to walk with the Lord through real struggles, and recognising how indispensable a community of men is to that journey.

It is a place for honest prayer, Scripture, encouragement, and accountable brotherhood. It gives men room to speak truthfully, grow in faith, and walk with others who will stay near.

What we practise

A stronger man is formed in truth and fellowship.

Our rhythm is simple: bring real life before God, receive support without shame, and let faith shape the way we serve the people entrusted to us.

  1. 01

    Pray honestly

Bring pressure, temptation, family, work, gratitude, and unanswered questions before God.

  2. 02

    Support faithfully

Offer encouragement, accountability, and the kind of brotherhood that does not disappear when life is hard.

  3. 03

    Build deliberately

Grow in character and service so that homes, churches, and communities are strengthened.

From Alfred

A message from the founder.

Interceding Men was born out of deep remorse.

I had repeatedly made mistakes in my walk with God. Those mistakes dishonoured Him, deeply hurt me and the people in my life, damaged relationships, set back years of personal growth and progress, and jeopardised important goals I had been working towards.

Many of these mistakes could have been avoided. They often crept in gradually, disguised as harmless interactions or seemingly insignificant compromises. When our guard is down, when we become complacent, distracted, or simply stop paying attention, they can deal devastating blows.

Looking back, I realise that some of these situations could have been recognised and addressed earlier if I had godly men around me: brothers who could see what I was missing, challenge me when necessary, hold me accountable, and pray alongside me.

I know I am not alone in this journey. Many men are trying to walk uprightly and honour God, yet they are doing so alone or surrounded by people who do not share the same convictions, pursue the same standards, or provide the trustworthy support they need.

The world we live in presents many challenges to men. Our roles and responsibilities, given by God, are often questioned, and our sense of purpose can be challenged. At the same time, many men have made mistakes that have contributed to mistrust and resentment towards men.

Some of us start this journey at a disadvantage. We may have grown up in fatherless homes, without a clear example of what it means to be a godly man of integrity and character. We are left to figure things out as we go, often dealing with the consequences, shame, and guilt of our mistakes along the way. For some, healing and restoration can seem almost impossible.

Sometimes, by the time we begin to understand what it means to be good fathers, navigating relationships with our children is still difficult, particularly when they do not live with us. There are also mental and emotional struggles that men often find difficult to talk about, alongside the real pressure to provide and meet financial responsibilities in today's economy. These challenges can take a toll on our sense of identity and manhood.

Married men can also find themselves feeling unappreciated, disconnected, or vulnerable to temptations that threaten their marriages and their walk with God.

But there is hope.

As Christians, we have the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. We have prayer, and we know the power of coming together in prayer. Corporate prayer moves mountains. Importantly, we have one another: brothers who can understand, encourage, and support us in ways that few others can.

It is my prayer that Interceding Men will become a safe place for men who are struggling to live up to a higher standard of integrity and godly character, especially those who have been trying to do so alone.

A community where we can be honest about our struggles, encourage one another, pray together, and grow together.

A safe space. Bible based. Spirit filled. Judgment free. Prayer powered. Love assured.

Our objectives

  1. Deepen every man's personal relationship with God.
  2. Establish a consistent lifestyle of prayer.
  3. Build authentic Christian brotherhood and accountability.
  4. Develop godly character and spiritual maturity.
  5. Strengthen men in their marriages, fatherhood, and family responsibilities.
  6. Encourage men to become positive influences in their workplaces and communities.
  7. Equip men to serve, evangelise, and intercede for others.

Welcome to Interceding Men. May God bless you, strengthen you, and help you become the man He has called you to be.

Your brother,
Alfred Anyan
